As an aspiring Writer, i know that i can tend to not honestly commit myself to maintain a daily writing schedule because of my busy schedule. But lately i have been thinking really deep on coming up with my own plan and goal of finding a way to not loose my way and stay focused everyday on improving and practicing my writing skills. It does not make sense for someone to say that they want to be the greatest writer ever, when in truth they have not taken the time to write, learn, and practice their writing skills.
honestly i want to learn as much as possible by reading alot, and meeting authors, and aspiring writers such as myself. I know that getting as much exposure will help me gain more knowledge in the world of writing.
My goal is to intern and later on get a job as an Editorial Assistant because i have come to realize that it would be another way for my writing to get noticed, and also gain exposure into the publishing business works, since i know that writers also have to know how stories get edited and published.
Writing is what i truly love to do, it is what i have been doing since i was twelve by expressing myself in journals. Writing helps me escape and create a whole new world and characters. Reading is also one of my greatest joys. Reading has helped me understand life better, has served as not only entertainment but also as comfort and purpose.
I do not want to loose track of what i have always loved doing as a hobby first because now i want to do it as a career.
