Saying Goodbye to Regrets

It’s been a while since I last posted but kid you guys not being a Mom to a 1 year old daughter who is in her tantrums stage and an 11 month old who just loves his mommy too much that my hands are rarely hand-free nowadays so I am will do my best to post in here more often.

Regrets! What can I say, this is something that I have been thinking for quite a while ever since I started my online business in a health and wellness company, and now that I am a mom of two it’s been something that I want to share right here because I think it’s something that everyone would relate to.

People have accepted as regret as something that everyone has. Regret is just something that happens. But ever since I started doing self-development I have come to realize that living with regrets is not healthy, it’s just something that shackles you and doesn’t let you live the life you’ve always wanted to live.

It’s time that we stop living in regrets and just do whatever it is that I have always wanted to do! For me it’s getting my Associates in Early Childhood Education and work at a preschool. Promote to Ruby in my online business and beyond, I want to create a better life for my family and save enough money for me and my boyfriend’s first car.

There are many things I want to do in my life that regret is something I don’t want to feel anymore. So I’m saying goodbye to regrets and I’m saying Hello to new opportunities and the promise of an even awesome and better life for myself and my family. 💕🙏🙌🏼✨

I’m Back!!!

Hello everyone!

This is my first blog post in a long time! Life has gotten in the way of being able to keep posting on my blog so hopefully you are still following me and reading my blog if not then hopefully I get new readers. 😂 Well I became a Mom in 2017 to a beautiful girl who is now 1 years old and in 2018 a beautiful son who is now 7 months old!! 😍❤️ They are both my world eventhough sometimes they drive me crazy and can get overwhelming taking care of both of them, which it is to be expected. I welcomed motherhood into my life with open arms and joy, fear and excitement. Taking care of two little humans is not a walk in the park and there is so much I am learning and still have yet to learn about being a Mom and raising two kids yet the whole experience of it is so worth it.

But honestly I will not lie and say that I have days where I do wish I could throw in the towel and just have a day of being baby free and go back to when I was not a Mom yet. Don’t get me wrong I don’t regret being a Mom, I love my two babies a million times, but there are days where it just gets so overwhelming and stressful for me that I just want to disappear and never come back to my babies.

Anyways I just wanted to go back to my blog and vent a little and also I have decided to come back to blogging since I know it will help me express myself and not bottle my emotions, feelings, and thoughts too much in my head since it is not healthy to keep everything inside of me, it is important to release everything out in the open; it may be risky to do that but it is worth it and better than just keeping everything in for fear of what other people might say or think of you if you do.

I used to be that girl that always was afraid of speaking my mind out loud for fear of being rejected or unliked. Now I am slowly learning to let go of worrying about what others think of me and just speak my mind and share with you guys my life. ❤️

How My Life has Been so Far

Hello Everyone!!

You probably don’t follow my blog because of how much I have neglected posting on my blog, but honestly I have been busy with life and now that I am a Mom of two babies, a newborn baby boy; his name is Axel, and my 11 month-old daughter Iris. Well it’s been a really big and awesome adventure! 😊😍

I had my birthday last month too which was on June 26 so now I am 27!! 💕🌻🎉

There’s been alot of changes in my life lately that sometimes I don’t feel like I’m the same person I was 4 or 3 years ago. Now I have dreams and goals of my own that I want to accomplish, and eventhough it may seem impossible to me right now, I know I can do it with hard work, persistence, and determination!! 🙌❤️

5 Image Quotes to Motivate

Hello Everyone, 🙂

I often find myself wanting to motivate myself to keep on going everyday on accomplishing my goals. But I am honestly not perfect and tend to fall into a slump of laziness. Whenever I feel like that I always like to go online and look at picture quotes, and just reading the quote and looking at the picture helps me get back to being motivated in a positive way. I always try to save picture quotes that I find online, that I like and save them for later viewing and reflecting. I hope you find these quotes motivating as I do as well. I know that this July is going to be full of new challenges and adventures for me. I like to keep picture quotes by my side whenever I feel stuck, unmotivated, or feeling doubtful about something I want to do.

You are Unique

Hello Everyone ☺

You are unique dont let other people change you for who you are not. They might think that you have to change, but you know yourself better than anyone else, and you dont need to change.

Erase all of those negative comments that do not let you be yourself. It might be easier said than done, but trust me with time it does work. I have struggled to not let other people’s negative comments get the best of me. Often when i would hear someone tell me something negative about me, i would think that they were right and so i would take their negative comments seriously and just let it hurt me emotionally. I think that is why i was always a really shy girl, eversince i can remember.

I am still struggling in accepting my uniqueness, and opening myself up to meeting new people without fear of what they will think, or say about me. I want to open myself up to new and exciting opportunities that life brings me.

The Reality of Being a CNA

Hello Everyone 🙂

I decided to share with you guys about my own experience of working as a CNA, and also to share with you the realities of being a Certified Nurse Assistant. I have heard that the job of being a CNA is undervalued because it is seemed as a job that can be frustrating to do, and honestly it is but it has it’s positives as well.

Being a CNA is a job that honestly requires a lot of patience and willingness to do such a job because you are basically with senior residents 24/7, it is like you are their main caregiver. Another reality about being a CNA is that the assigned residents you get for your shift are your responsibility during your shift to take care of, and trust me when I say that, it is honestly not an easy job to do because I had to learn how to manage my time wisely by seeing which of my assigned residents needed to take their showers, or who needed their vitals done for that day, or which residents are continent and incontinent, so it is a lot of responsibility that falls on you.

Another reality is you have to make sure that your residents are safe at all times, meaning that if a resident is a fall-risk then you as a CNA have to make sure that resident is safe in their wheelchair, or bed at all times during your scheduled shift; you cannot just leave them unattended since it can get you and your job into trouble if one of your residents is fall-risk and gets injured seriously.

While being a CNA can be stressful, frustrating, demanding, and a lot of responsibility, it also has it’s positive’s like I mentioned to you guys earlier in my post. One of them that I like as a CNA is knowing that I am making a resident feel safe and comfortable, and that their needs are met. Another positive that I like about being a CNA is getting positive compliments from the residents about how well I am doing my job in taking care of them, and also interacting with the residents makes my job more meaningful.

I personally never though or considered a job as a CNA before, but I needed to find a job that would help me support myself because I was tired on relying on my parents for anything that I needed, and also because I wanted to be financially independent; so I just decided to take a quick CNA course to get my CNA certification in order to get a job, and so I did and I got a job.

I am not planning on being a CNA for a long time though,  there are a lot of things I want to do in my life.  I am studying Creative Writing because it’s another love that I have. I want to create my own stories and share them with everyone else. I mostly want to write stories for Middle Grade,  and Young Adults. It’s tough growing up because you are trying to find your place in this world.

A Mother’s Day Poem

Hello Everyone 🙂

My Mom’s birthday was on May 10th which falls on the Mexican Mother’s Day holiday, so it was a special day to celebrate not only my Mom’s birthday, but also how much she means the world to me and my siblings. In honor of U.S. Mother’s Day coming up on the 14th here is a Mother’s Day poem that I want to share with you guys.

My Mother’s hands may be worn out

from all of the everyday work that she does,

from cooking, cleaning, to working full-time;

still her hands never cease to loose the warmth

of a comforting Mother’s touch.

Her hands have comforted every fever,

every sadness, and every tough time

I have gone through in my life.

Her words of wisdom and guidance

give me the hope and strength that

I need to keep on going.

No matter how many times I fall

she will always be there for me to

with her hands wide open to fill me

with comfort, and her never-ending love.

I’m Thankful for What I have 😊✌🌻

Hello Everyone,

Since it is Monday today I decided to simply do a blog post about what I am thankful for.  These past few months have been full of ups and Downs that I sometimes tend to keep focusing on the negative moments that I have had more,  than on the positive moments that I have experienced.  Being thankful is mostly something that we think about in November for Thanksgiving,  but I try to think every month what I am thankful for;  but honestly I do forget sometimes.  So here are five things that I am thankful for:

1. I’m thankful for having a loving boyfriend who loves me for who I am and respects me. It was not a love at first sight,  it was more of like a love that happened unexpectedly but in a good way.

2. My family and friends,  even though I have not had the chance to go visit my family in Orange County,  California,  I do miss them a lot.  Calling my mom and my twin sister helps though.  I also miss my friends a lot and hopefully someday I can see them again.

3. Having a job is another thing that I am thankful for.  I used to struggle looking for a job in which I can support myself financially with out relying on my parents a lot.  Having a job as a CNA has helped me understand the value of helping others.

4. Loving my unique self and accepting my natural beauty is something that I am truly thankful for because there have been times in my life while growing up that I have felt insecure about myself,  and my physical image.  I have also struggled with my self-confidence,  I used to listen and take to heart what everyone thought about me,  to the point that I would let everyone’s negative comments affect me in negative way.

5. Continuing with my higher education is another thing that I am thankful for because coming Mexican immigrant parents,  I have learned the value of having an education and working hard towards my dreams and goals is something to be proud of in life.  My parents we’re not so fortunate enough to get a college degree because they had to work to provide for themselves and their families so my parents have always instilled me and my siblings to work hard and to never give up on our own dreams and goals no matter how challenging it may seem. I want to have a career in writing,  so it is something that I am working on right now,  and even though it may seem challenging I do not want to give up in my goal of publishing a novel someday.

My Top 5 Favorite Movies Right Now

1. The Anne of Green Gables Sequel

I like the 1985 version of Anne of Green Gables series. I feel like they are more close to the classic novels by L. M.  Montgomery. Sullivan the director of these three beautiful movies did an amazing job at choosing actors that could portray the novel’s characters so well. He did an awesome job in making the novels come to life in a meaningful way.

2. October Sky

I love this 1999 movie because it is really inspirational and motivating.  I remember I first saw it when I was a junior in high school,  my U. S History teacher showed it to us one during class,  and I will never forget how much it motivated me to keep on working towards my own dreams and goals.  It also reminded me of the struggles and challenges I have gone through and still go through in my life right now.

3. Mean Girls

I like this 2004 movie,  not only because it is a funny movie about teenage life in high school,  but also because it portrays in a meaningful and humorous way how teenage girls would go far to be popular in high school,  and also it touches on the subject of bullying and how it can affect everyone,  even teachers.

4. 500 Days of Summer

This 2009 movie I like how it portrays how love really is in reality.  Finding true love does not always happen by first sight,  or does not always end like in the fairy-tale stories.  Sometimes love comes to us in unexpected ways.

5. The Perks of Being A Wallflower

This 2012 movie really is one of the most moving and realistic movies that I have seen so far that really hits my heart so much,  and makes me emotional in so many good ways.  It really makes me think a lot about life,  love,  relationships,  and accomplishing good things in life despite what happened to us in the past.  Logan Lerman did a really great job in portraying Charlie,  who is a wallflower from the start,  but he becomes friends with two free-spirited high school Seniors who show him the way,  and the ropes of what high school is all about in a fun and meaningful way.  This is a movie that I really would not stop watching because it shows the main character’s struggle with his personal life,  and coping with the loss of his Aunt.

My First Flight

Hello Everyone,  🙂

My first flight was amazing it was was unlike being in an airplane where you know where you are going,  you know your destination.

This type if flight is more than amazing,  it is enchanting;  it is what I always dreamed it would be.  I feel the cool breeze touch my curly wild hair not wanting to tame it,  it moves wildly with the dancing of the wind.  My heart beats wildly with unknown anticipation at where I will end up visiting.

It is my one adventure that I will never forget.  I wildness inside me as it makes me realize that this flight is changing me in so many ways;  it is helping me grow as I spread my wings high in the clouds of dreams and magic.  I used to be afraid of flying on my own,  and spreading my wings into the unknown,  but with the help of dear friends and family,  I have learned to see the beauty of flying and to explore the unknown.
